On May 26, 2013,

 our golden retriever Gracie

 gave birth to eight goldendoodle puppies. 

Their father is a full sized, cream colored, AKC registered purebred poodle named Sid. Our new mother Gracie is a three year old purebred golden retriever, also AKC registered. 

All of her goldendoodle puppies, four girls and four boys, are healthy and rapidly growing and developing as expected. 

Gracie's puppies vary individually from mixes of light to darker brown. As today marks two weeks since their birth, we become more attached, continue to enjoy them and marvel at their development. At this time, they have all stopped army crawling and are becoming stronger in their attempts to walk. Their eyes are now opening and they are more lively.

 Gracie continues to be a wonderful mother and is comfortable with us coddling and picking up her babies and introducing them to a warm and caring social environment.
